  1. Calendar (4 marks)

    1. Calendar "views" (2 marks)

      • Change the view to "Active Appointments"
      • Capture this screen with "ALT" + "PrintScreen" (see Creating Attachments)
      • Paste this into a Paint file named "calendar view.jpg"
      • Attach this file to an e-mail message addressed to your instructor

    2. iCalendar appointments: (2 marks)

      • Create a 2 hour appointment (8:00 - 10:00 pm on a Monday ... any date)
      • Send this appointment to your instructor as an iCalendar
  2. Notes (4 marks)

    1. Create 2 notes:
      • one to "pick up groceries after work" (colour blue)
      • one to "meet with John Smith at 4 pm" (colour yellow)

    2. send both notes to your instructor as email attachments
  3. Tasks (6 marks)

    1. Create and Assign Tasks: (3 marks)
      • create 3 "to do" items
      • assign 2 to people in your contacts
      • assign 1 to your instructor

    2. Task Status Report: (2 marks)

      • Send status report to instructor for each of the 2 tasks you have assigned to other people

    3. Task "View": (1 mark)

      • Change your Task view to show tasks in order by the person responsible for each task
      • Capture this screen with "ALT" + "PrintScreen" (see Creating Attachments)
      • Paste this into a Paint file named "task view.JPG"
      • Attach this file to an e-mail message addressed to your instructor

  4. Journal (4 marks)

    1. Journalling Outlook Events: (2 marks)

      • Set up Journal to track all Outlook events
      • Capture this screen with Alt + Print Screen (see Creating Attachments)
      • Paste this screen into a Paint file named "Journal setup.JPG"
      • Attach this file to an e-mail message addressed to your instructor

    2. Journal Entries: (2 marks)

      • Open your journal
      • Drag and drop three different Journal entries into three separate e-mail messages
      • Mail each of those messages to your instructor
